Xiaomi’s UltraThin and Magnetic Power Banks Debut in India

Xiaomi launched three new power banks in India, offering various capacities and fast charging options.

Xiaomi launched three new power banks in India on Tuesday. The company introduced the UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W first. It also unveiled the Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W. In addition, it brought the Power Bank 20000 165W. Sales start next week through several online and offline stores.

The UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W carries a 5,000mAh battery. It supports 15W wireless charging. Meanwhile, the Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W supports 25W wireless fast charging.

Price and availability in India

Xiaomi priced the UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W at Rs 5,999. However, the company offers a launch price of Rs 5,499. Buyers can choose Graphite Black, Glacier Silver, or Radiant Orange. In contrast, the Power Bank 20000 165W costs Rs 4,999. Both models go on sale on September 11.

Next, Xiaomi priced the Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W at Rs 3,999. The firm offers a launch price of Rs 3,699. It arrives on September 15 in Black and White. Shoppers can buy all three models on Amazon, Flipkart, the Xiaomi online store, Xiaomi retail stores, Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, and Zepto.

Specifications and features

The UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W stays 6mm thick. It weighs about 98g. Users snap it magnetically onto the back of a phone. It delivers up to 15W magnetic wireless charging. It also supports 22.5W wired charging for one device. When two devices connect, wired output drops to 7.5W.

Meanwhile, the Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W holds a 10,000mAh battery. It supports Qi 2.2 wireless charging at up to 25W. A 13N magnetic pull keeps it attached more firmly. An integrated USB Type-C cable provides 45W wired output. It also supports QC 2.0, PD, and PPS protocols.

Finally, the Power Bank 20000 165W offers the largest capacity at 20,000mAh. It also delivers the highest combined output at up to 165W. One USB Type-C port supports 120W. The second USB Type-C port supports 45W. An integrated USB Type-C cable also supports 120W. A USB Type-A port adds extra flexibility. It supports QC 3.5, PD 3.0, PPS, BC 1.2, and Apple 2.4A. A colour display shows charging status.
