Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold: Price Hike Explained

Google’s upcoming foldable phone may cost more due to a RAM shortage affecting production.

Google’s Next Foldable Flagship Could Cost More Than Last Year’s Model

Fresh leaks suggest Google’s upcoming folding phone may carry a higher price than its predecessor. A supplier-driven RAM shortage appears to pressure the company’s hardware division.

Sources list European prices for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The 256GB model starts at €1,999. The 512GB version reaches €2,129. The 1TB model climbs to €2,389. These figures convert to roughly ₹2,17,000, ₹2,31,000, and ₹2,59,000.

In the UK, buyers may see £1,799, £1,919, and £2,149 for the same storage options. That works out to about ₹2,28,000, ₹2,44,000, and ₹2,73,000.

A company official has reportedly confirmed the memory shortage behind the increase. Earlier reports also indicate the standard Pixel 11 Pro XL could face a similar price rise.

Meanwhile, known leaker Evan Blass shared images that look like official renders on X. The photos show the foldable in Moss and Black finishes from multiple angles. These match earlier design rumors.

The renders reveal an 8-inch inner display. Designers placed the selfie camera in the top-right corner. This layout stays largely the same as last year’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

However, the camera system looks different. Instead of one single housing, the rear module features two separate rows of sensors. Google also appears ready to add Pixel Glow, an RGB lighting element. The company has already teased this feature on the standard Pixel 11 Pro and may bring it across the full lineup.

Beyond the camera changes and new lighting, the Fold otherwise stays close to its predecessor. Google has not confirmed any details yet. The company is expected to reveal more at its Made by Google event next month.
