Lava Launches Virat V1 5G and Virat V1 4G in India
Lava International introduces the Virat V1 5G and Virat V1 4G in India on Friday. These affordable smartphones expand the brand’s latest lineup. Both models arrive with 6.75-inch displays. They also feature an AI-backed dual rear camera system led by a 13-megapixel primary sensor.
The 5G version carries a 6,000mAh battery. Meanwhile, the 4G model packs a 5,000mAh battery. The phones will go on sale in India starting next week.
Pricing and Availability
Lava prices the Virat V1 5G at Rs. 12,999. As an introductory offer, the company sells it for Rs. 11,999. The Virat V1 4G carries a regular price of Rs. 9,999. It becomes available at a special launch price of Rs. 8,999.
Sales begin on Flipkart and the official Lava website on July 31 at 12 p.m. IST. This special launch pricing applies only on the first day of sale.
Colors and Service
The Virat V1 5G comes in Arya Blue and Sonar Gold. In contrast, the Virat V1 4G appears in Nilgiri Blue and Himalayan Silver. Furthermore, Lava confirms doorstep after-sales service for both models.

The 4G variant relies on a Unisoc SC9863A processor. It also offers 4GB of RAM plus 4GB of virtual RAM support. Internal storage remains 64GB.
Both phones include an AI-backed dual rear camera unit headlined by a 13-megapixel primary sensor. A 5-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls. In addition, the devices carry an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
