Vivo X500 Series Set for EU Launch on October 27
Vivo launched the X500 series in China on September 21. The company has now confirmed a wider debut. A microsite says the phones will launch in selected global markets next month and go on sale in November. Certification listings also point to battery capacities for the European models. In China, the X500 Pro series uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset.
A Vivo Austria page says the EU launch is October 27 at 4pm CET, or 8:30pm IST. The X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max can be pre-ordered in the region on launch day. Sales in the EU are listed for November 5.
The three models appear on the European Product Registry for Energy Labelling database. Model numbers are V2610, V2621, and V2622 for the Pro Max, Pro, and standard X500. EPREL lists a 6,570mAh battery for the Pro Max, which may be marketed as 6,800mAh.
The X500 Pro listing shows 6,305mAh, expected to be sold as 6,500mAh. The standard X500 listing shows 5,180mAh, which could be presented as 5,300mAh. Vivo has not confirmed the final global specifications.
If those figures stand, EU batteries would be smaller than the China models. In China, the X500 has a 7,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max are listed there at 6,510mAh and 8,000mAh.
China pricing starts at CNY 5,499, or about Rs. 79,000, for the X500 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The X500 Pro starts at CNY 6,499, or about Rs. 93,000. The X500 Pro Max starts at CNY 6,999, or about Rs. 1,00,000. Global prices should follow the October 27 event.
