Vivo Launches X300 Ultra and X300s Smartphones in China with 200MP Zeiss Cameras

Vivo introduced two new flagship smartphones in China on Monday. The company launched the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300s together. Both phones feature powerful 200-megapixel Zeiss-backed camera systems and come with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

The Vivo X300 Ultra targets premium users with top hardware. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and offers advanced telephoto capabilities. On the other hand, the Vivo X300s provides strong performance with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. It also includes a 144Hz display and a larger battery.

Pricing and Colour Options

In China, the Vivo X300 Ultra starts at CNY 6,999 (approximately Rs. 95,900) for the 12GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 512GB version costs CNY 7,499 (around Rs. 1,02,700). Furthermore, the 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 7,999 (roughly Rs. 1,09,600). The top 16GB + 1TB Satellite Communication Edition comes at CNY 8,999 (about Rs. 1,23,300).

The Vivo X300s is more affordable. It begins at CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 68,500) for the 12GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 512GB option costs CNY 5,499 (around Rs. 75,400). Moreover, the 16GB + 512GB version is priced at CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs. 82,200), while the 16GB + 1TB model costs CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 95,900).

Vivo offers all variants with 200GB of cloud storage for two years. This offer remains valid until May 5. The X300 Ultra comes in Black, Film Green, and Silver Tone colours. Meanwhile, the X300s is available in Dream Core Purple, Film Green, Silver Tone, and Titanium Black.

Accessories and Availability

Vivo also launched several camera accessories. The G2 Ultra teleconverter bundle with a phone case costs CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 27,400). The bundle with the professional imaging handle costs CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 34,200). These accessories will be available in limited quantities starting April 3.

Additionally, Vivo introduced a Professional Video Expansion Kit in partnership with SmallRig. It is priced at CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 23,300) and will go on sale in mid-to-late April 2026.

Key Features and Specifications

The Vivo X300 Ultra features a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and supports up to 16GB RAM with 1TB storage. The phone has a triple camera setup with a 200MP main sensor, 50MP ultrawide, and 200MP periscope telephoto lens. It supports up to 8K video recording and advanced zoom with teleconverter attachments.

The device includes a 6,600mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. It also supports reverse charging.

The Vivo X300s comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED flat display with 144Hz refresh rate. It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and offers up to 16GB RAM. The camera system includes a 200MP main sensor, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The phone packs a larger 7,100mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support.

Both smartphones deliver flagship-level photography with Zeiss tuning and support for additional teleconverter lenses. They also offer modern connectivity features including Wi-Fi 7 and 5G.

With these launches, Vivo strengthens its position in the premium Android smartphone segment in China. The devices will appeal to photography enthusiasts and users seeking high performance.
