Xiaomi may soon bring its Watch 5 smartwatch to Europe. A fresh leak hints at an upcoming launch beyond China.
The device first appeared in China late last December. Now, reports suggest it could arrive in markets like Czechia soon.
According to Czech outlet SvětAndroida, the global version will cost around CZK 7,990. That equals about €329 or roughly Rs. 35,400. So, expect a higher price tag outside China.
In China, the Watch 5 starts at CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 15,000). The eSIM model there costs CNY 2,299 (about Rs. 29,000).
The global variant should run Google’s Wear OS. This change opens up the Play Store and a bigger app selection. In contrast, the Chinese model uses Xiaomi’s own system.
Moreover, the watch will likely keep most features from its home version. It comes in Black and Juniper Green colors. The size stays at 47mm.
Look for a stunning 1.54-inch AMOLED display. It offers 480×480 resolution, 1,500 nits brightness, and sapphire glass protection.
The build feels premium too. It features a 316L stainless steel case and 5ATM water resistance.
Battery life impresses with a 930mAh cell. Users can get up to six days in smart mode. In power-saving mode, it stretches to 18 days.
Health tracking stands out strongly. The watch includes heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, and ECG support. An EMG sensor adds gesture controls.
Dual processors power it smoothly. A Snapdragon W5 chip teams up with a power-saving coprocessor.
Xiaomi has not confirmed the exact launch date or pricing yet. However, the leak points to a release soon. It may arrive alongside the Xiaomi 17 series and Xiaomi Pad 8 lineup.
Stay tuned for official news. This expansion could excite fans in Europe!
