Vivo launched the Y31T 5G in India on Thursday. It joins the company’s Y-series mid-range lineup. The phone went on sale across online and offline channels the same day.
A listing had earlier appeared on Vivo’s website. It showed most details except prices and storage options.
The Vivo Y31T 5G uses an octa-core Snapdragon 4 series chipset. It pairs this processor with a 7,200 mAh battery. A dual rear camera setup leads with a 50-megapixel main sensor. The phone features a 6.75-inch LCD screen.
Prices in India start at Rs 25,999 for the 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant. The 6 GB + 128 GB model costs Rs 29,999. The top 6 GB + 256 GB version is priced at Rs 34,999.
Buyers can get an instant cashback of Rs 1,500 with selected bank cards. These include SBI, IDFC First Bank, Axis Bank, Yes Bank, HDFC Bank, Bank of Baroda, and IndusInd Bank.
The phone is available on Flipkart, the Vivo India online store, and offline retail outlets. It comes in Crimson Red, Golden Mist, and Seashore colours.
The dual-SIM handset runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Its 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display offers a 120 Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness reaches 1,250 nits. The screen covers 83 percent of the NTSC colour gamut. Vivo claims IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
A 4 nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset powers the device. It has six efficiency cores at 1.95 GHz and two performance cores that reach 2.2 GHz. The phone supports up to 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock.
The rear camera combines a 50-megapixel f/2.0 primary lens with a 2-megapixel f/2.4 bokeh sensor. An 8-megapixel f/2.05 front camera handles selfies and video calls. Shooting modes include Night, Portrait, Video, Live Photo, Slo-mo, Time-lapse, Pro, and Pano.
The 7,200 mAh battery supports 44W wired fast charging. Connectivity options cover 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB Type-C. Navigation systems include GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.
Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor, and gyroscope. The phone measures 166.64 mm by 78.43 mm by 8.39 mm. It weighs about 219 grams.
