Poco X8 5G and Power 5G Launch in India: Specs and Features Revealed

Poco will launch X8 5G and X8 Power 5G in India on September 4, featuring impressive specifications.

Poco will launch the X8 5G and X8 Power 5G in India next month. Poco India confirmed the news on X. The company also shared teaser videos that show the rear design, battery size, and charging details. Both phones are expected to have 6.83-inch displays. They may use Snapdragon chipsets.

Poco India announced the official launch date on Friday. Both models will arrive on September 4 at 12:00 pm IST. They will go on sale through Flipkart. Dedicated product pages are already live on the site.

The standard Poco X8 5G is teased with a 9,000 mAh battery. The company says it can last up to 3.2 days on one charge. It supports 67W charging and 22.5W reverse charging.

The Poco X8 Power 5G will have a 10,000 mAh battery. Poco claims it can last up to 3.5 days. It supports 100W wired charging and 27W wired reverse charging. Both phones will offer bypass charging, PPS charging, and smart charging. The company also rates both batteries for six years of use.

A teaser video shows the Poco X8 in orange and white. It has a vertically arranged dual rear camera. The X8 Power 5G appears in yellow with a black squircle-shaped camera module that holds two sensors.

The two models are expected to sit below the Poco X8 Pro in India. The X8 Power 5G is rumoured to use a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It may run on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Its cameras may include a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 32-megapixel front camera.

The Poco X8 5G is rumoured to use a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset. It could also have a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with brightness up to 3,500 nits. Its camera setup may include a 50-megapixel rear sensor and a 16-megapixel front camera.

Both phones are likely to carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. Poco may offer four Android version updates and six years of security updates.
