Fire-Boltt Launches Boltt Ace 5G and Boltt Evo Smartphones in India
Fire-Boltt has entered the Indian smartphone market. The company launched its first two handsets under the new Boltt sub-brand on Tuesday. These are the Boltt Ace 5G and Boltt Evo. Both phones will go on sale next month through an e-commerce platform. The Ace 5G offers six colour options. The Evo comes in five colours. Unisoc chipsets power both devices. Each model features a 6.79-inch HD+ LCD touchscreen. Both phones carry 6,000mAh batteries. A dual camera system sits on the back inside a square-shaped island.
The Boltt Ace 5G starts at Rs. 13,999 in India. This price covers the base 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The 6GB + 128GB option costs Rs. 14,999. The top 8GB + 128GB configuration is priced at Rs. 15,999.
The Boltt Evo starts at Rs. 10,999. This is for the base variant with the same RAM and storage as the Ace 5G. The 6GB + 128GB version costs Rs. 11,999. The company offers a Rs. 1,000 Day 1 discount on both phones across all variants.
Both smartphones will go on sale in India on September 1 via Flipkart. The Boltt Ace 5G is available in Arctic White, Burgundy Bliss, Forest Green, Lavender Bloom, Midnight Black, and Sky Blue. The Boltt Evo comes in Arctic White, Berry Red, Lavender Bloom, Midnight Black, and Sky Blue.
The Boltt Ace 5G and Evo are dual SIM phones. They ship with Android 16. Both models use a 6.79-inch HD+ LCD screen with 720 x 1,640 pixels resolution. The display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits peak brightness.
The Ace 5G runs on the octa-core Unisoc T8200 chipset. It offers up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Storage can expand up to 1TB through a microSD card. The company claims an AnTuTu score of more than 5,47,000 points. The Boltt Evo uses the octa-core Unisoc T7250 processor. It provides up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. This is also expandable up to 1TB. Its AnTuTu score crosses 3,90,000 points.
On the camera front, the Ace 5G features a dual rear setup. A 64-megapixel main sensor leads the system. An unspecified secondary camera supports it. The Evo uses a 50-megapixel primary camera paired with a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Both phones have an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
Each model carries a 6,000mAh battery. Only the Ace 5G supports 18W wired charging. The Ace 5G also offers 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a USB Type-C port. Both phones measure 170 x 77.71 x 8.5 mm and weigh about 233 grams.
