Honor Launches X80i Smartphone in China with Massive Battery
Honor has introduced a new smartphone in its X series in China. The company launched the Honor X80i this week. This affordable device offers strong features, including a large battery and a bright display.
The Honor X80i comes with a 6.6-inch AMOLED display. It supports 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the screen can reach up to 6,500 nits peak brightness. It also features 3,840Hz PWM dimming for comfortable viewing. The phone has a slim design and measures only 7.34mm in thickness.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6500 Elite chipset. It is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The phone runs on MagicOS 10, which is based on Android 16.
For photography, the Honor X80i includes a 50-megapixel main rear camera. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The device also carries a large 7,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Additionally, it offers wired reverse charging support.
The phone features an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance. It is available in four attractive colours: Flowing Sand Pink, Lime Green, Moon Shadow White, and Obsidian Black.

The Honor X80i starts at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 26,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 256GB version is priced at CNY 2,199 (about Rs. 29,000). The 12GB + 256GB model costs CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 33,000). The top 12GB + 512GB variant is available for CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 37,000).
The phone is now on sale in China through Honor’s official stores and online platforms.
