  • Redmi K100 Series Launch: Everything You Need to Know

Redmi is preparing to launch the K100 series in China next week. The lineup will include the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max. Both models will use Snapdragon chipsets.

Rumours about the next-generation K series have already begun circulating online. A recent comment from a Redmi executive has added new hints.

Many Weibo users suggested that Redmi might skip the K110 name. They proposed that the company could move directly to the K200 series for its next flagships. In response, Redmi product manager Mia Xinxin commented that the K110 name feels a bit strange. Therefore, her remark hints that Redmi may brand its next major series as K200 rather than K110.

The Redmi K100 Pro series is scheduled to arrive in China on 11 August. The K100 Pro is expected to feature an 8,580mAh silicon-carbon battery. It will support 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. In addition, the phone will offer 27W wired reverse charging and 22.5W wireless reverse charging.

A triple rear camera setup will lead the imaging system. A 200-megapixel primary sensor will headline the unit. The device will carry a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution. Peak brightness is set to reach 4,500 nits. Moreover, the screen will support a 4,800Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate.

The K100 Pro will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chipset. It will feature an IP68-rated build and an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The Redmi K100 Pro Max will use an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. This model is expected to come with a larger 9,070mAh battery.

These details provide an early look at Redmi’s upcoming flagship plans while the company prepares for next week’s launch.
