Vodafone Idea Silently Raises Price of 84-Day Prepaid Plan to Rs. 899
Vodafone Idea has raised the price of one of its prepaid plans that offer 84 days of validity. The company increased the cost of the recharge pack without issuing a public notice. However, the benefits remain unchanged. The plan continues to provide unlimited calling along with access to Vi’s media streaming app.
Moreover, the telecom operator still offers nine different prepaid plans with 84 days of validity. This pack is the latest to receive a price hike. Additionally, it remains the most affordable 84-day validity plan that includes 5G data.
Vodafone Idea has updated its website to show the new pricing. The prepaid plan previously cost Rs. 859. It now costs Rs. 899. This marks a price increase of Rs. 40. The plan still offers 5G data and a 1.5GB per day data quota. As previously noted, the validity stays at 84 days. Furthermore, subscribers continue to receive unlimited calling.
With the Rs. 899 pack, the company provides a free night data benefit. Subscribers can use 5G data between midnight and 6 am without any deduction from their daily allowance. Moreover, the plan includes weekend data rollover. It also offers up to 2GB of backup data every month at no extra cost. Subscribers can claim this benefit through the Vi App.
In addition, the Rs. 899 prepaid plan includes a 100 SMS per day quota. It is the most affordable Vi plan that combines 5G connectivity with 84 days of validity. It is also the cheapest 84-day plan that grants access to the Vi Movies & TV app on smartphones and smart TVs. Users can stream movies, TV shows, and live news through the app.
However, the most affordable 84-day recharge plan overall remains the Rs. 470 pack. This plan offers unlimited calling but provides only 4G connectivity. Meanwhile, subscribers can also choose the Rs. 548 recharge pack. It delivers 4G connectivity, 7GB of data, 84 days of validity, and access to the Vi Movies & TV app at no additional charge.
The most expensive option on the list remains the Rs. 1,599 recharge pack. It offers unlimited 5G data, access to Netflix, and a 100 SMS per day quota, among other benefits.
