Xiaomi has launched a new budget smartphone in India. The company introduced the Redmi A7 Pro 5G on Monday. This handset arrives just two weeks after its debut in global markets.
The Redmi A7 Pro 5G comes with a large 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display. It offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for better scrolling and gaming experience. The phone runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and promises four years of Android updates along with six years of security patches.
Moreover, the device features a powerful 6nm octa-core Unisoc T8300 processor. It includes 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Users can further expand the storage up to 2TB using a microSD card.
For photography, the Redmi A7 Pro 5G sports a dual rear camera setup. The main camera is 32-megapixel. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The phone also supports useful AI features such as Gemini and Google’s Circle to Search.
In addition, the smartphone packs a massive 6,300mAh battery. It supports 15W wired fast charging and reverse wired charging. The device offers 5G connectivity along with other modern features like Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, and an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Pricing and Availability The Redmi A7 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 11,499 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage version costs Rs. 12,499. The phone is available in three attractive colours — Black, Mist Blue, and Sunset Orange. Customers can purchase it from Flipkart and Xiaomi’s official online store starting April 15.
