Apple MacBook Pro 2026: Launch Details in India

Apple launched the powerful MacBook Pro (2026) in India, featuring advanced displays and configurations.

Apple launched the new MacBook Pro (2026) in India on Tuesday. The Cupertino-based company added this powerful laptop to its flagship lineup.

The MacBook Pro (2026) comes in two display sizes. It offers 14-inch and 16-inch options. Customers choose between Silver and Space Black colours. Pre-orders begin March 4 through the Apple India online store.

The laptop uses Apple’s latest M5 Pro and M5 Max processors. Configurations reach up to 128GB of RAM. Storage options go as high as 8TB SSD.

The 14-inch model with M5 Pro starts at Rs. 2,49,900. This base version includes 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. The M5 Max variant begins at Rs. 3,99,900. Upgrades include Rs. 20,000 for the 18-core CPU and 20-core GPU. Moreover, 48GB RAM adds Rs. 40,000. The 2TB storage upgrade costs another Rs. 40,000.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro (2026) with M5 Pro starts at Rs. 2,99,900. The M5 Max version begins at Rs. 4,29,900. Furthermore, 64GB RAM requires a Rs. 60,000 premium. The 4TB storage option adds Rs. 1,00,000. The top M5 Max configuration with 18-core CPU and 40-core GPU costs an extra Rs. 50,000.

The MacBook Pro (2026) features a stunning Liquid Retina XDR display. The 16.2-inch version reaches 3,456 x 2,234 resolution. It delivers up to 1,600 nits peak brightness. Additionally, it supports 1 billion colours, P3 wide gamut, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. Nano-texture glass upgrade reduces glare.

A 12-megapixel webcam includes Center Stage and Desk View. These features keep users framed during calls and show desk views.

The M5 Pro chip packs an 18-core CPU with six Super Cores and 12 performance cores. It includes a 20-core GPU, hardware ray tracing, and a 16-core Neural Engine. The M5 Max variant matches the CPU but upgrades to a 40-core GPU.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Apple’s N1 networking chip. Ports feature two Thunderbolt 5, one HDMI, one SDXC card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Battery life impresses strongly. The 100Wh battery supports 140W fast charging via USB-C. Apple claims up to 24 hours of video playback. It also offers up to 17 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing.

The device includes a backlit Magic Keyboard with Touch ID. An ambient light sensor adjusts brightness automatically.

This launch strengthens Apple’s professional lineup. The MacBook Pro (2026) targets creators, developers, and power users. It combines cutting-edge performance with long battery life and advanced display technology.
