Motorola has announced the launch of its Moto Buds 2 true wireless earbuds in India. The company will introduce the earbuds on May 19.
This launch happens alongside the Moto G37 and G37 Power smartphones. Motorola first revealed the Moto Buds 2 and Moto Buds 2 Plus at MWC 2026 in Barcelona. The Plus variant already reached Indian stores in April.
The Indian version of the Moto Buds 2 will bring strong audio performance. It uses an 11mm driver for deep bass and a 6mm driver for clear high frequencies. Moreover, the earbuds support LHDC codec and Spatial Audio for immersive sound.
Users will enjoy dynamic active noise cancellation up to 55dB. The system smartly adjusts to the surrounding environment. In addition, Smart Transparency Mode lets important external sounds pass through easily.
For calls, the earbuds feature six microphones with Environmental Noise Cancellation. This setup delivers clearer voice quality even in noisy or windy conditions. Furthermore, they offer low-latency gaming mode, Bluetooth 6.0, and dual-device pairing.
Motorola has packed several useful features into the Moto Buds 2. These include wear detection, customizable touch controls, adjustable EQ with Bass Boost, Ring My Buds, voice assistant support, Audio Share, and Moto AI integration. The earbuds also carry an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Battery life stands out as another highlight. Each earbud provides up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge. With the case, total usage reaches up to 48 hours. Additionally, fast charging gives up to three hours of playtime after just 10 minutes.
Motorola has not revealed the Indian price yet. In the UK, the earbuds cost around GBP 70, which equals roughly Rs. 8,500. However, the company is expected to set a more competitive price in India. For comparison, the Moto Buds 2 Plus launched here at Rs. 5,999.
Overall, the Moto Buds 2 look set to offer premium features at an accessible price point. Tech enthusiasts in India can look forward to this exciting launch later this week.
