Xiaomi Teases New Devices in India: Tablet, Phones, and Computing Gadget on the Way

Xiaomi launched its QLED X Pro 75 smart TV lineup in India on Thursday. The company quickly followed up with exciting hints. A senior executive teased four new smartphones and one tablet soon. Separately, Xiaomi confirmed a new computing device for the Indian market.

The company posted a teaser on X. It said, “We’ve redefined the tablet category, but we’re not stopping there.” The image shows a thin, flat device with a lit-up keyboard. This suggests a lightweight laptop or a tablet with an attached backlit keyboard. The exact name remains under wraps for now.

Xiaomi India’s marketing head, Sandeep Sarma, shared a clue too. He posted six emojis: one TV, then two phones, a tablet, and two more phones. This sequence points to the TV launch first. Next comes a tablet, followed by four smartphones.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav believes the computing device is the Xiaomi Pad 8. He claims it will likely use the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The higher-end Pad 8 Pro may skip India due to rising costs.

Xiaomi’s current flagship tablet is the Pad 8 Pro. It launched in China last September. The base model starts at around Rs. 34,500. It features an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD display with 144Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chip powers it smoothly. A backlit keyboard with trackpad pairs perfectly.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi set the global launch for Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Xiaomi 17. Both phones debut on February 28. These announcements show Xiaomi’s aggressive push in India.

The company expands its portfolio fast. Consumers get more choices in TVs, tablets, and smartphones. Expect official reveals in the coming weeks. Xiaomi aims to strengthen its position in the premium segment.
