Vivo appears ready to introduce a major camera upgrade. Fresh leaks suggest strong improvements for the upcoming Vivo X500 Pro Max. The flagship smartphone may feature a completely revamped triple rear camera system.
According to a reliable tipster on Weibo, Vivo is currently testing the device. The primary sensor stands out as a new 50-megapixel Sony LOFIC unit. Moreover, it uses a large 1/1.28-inch size for better light capture.
Additionally, the setup includes a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Furthermore, a powerful 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera joins the system. This lens features a 1/1.4-inch sensor and an 85mm focal length. It also supports high-quality telephoto macro shots.
Vivo is testing an improved optical image stabilisation mechanism. As a result, users can expect sharper photos and steadier videos. These changes mark one of the biggest camera leaps for the brand in recent years.
Beyond photography, the Vivo X500 Pro Max is expected to deliver strong performance. It will likely debut with MediaTek’s next flagship Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. This processor becomes the first to use TSMC’s advanced 2nm process. The phone may also come with fast LPDDR6 RAM.
