Apple May Follow iPhone Launches with New Mac, TV, and Home Device
Apple is not slowing down after the iPhone 18 Pro series and iPhone Duo. Fresh rumours say the company is preparing more hardware. A redesigned MacBook Pro, a new Apple TV 4K, and a smart home display are in the mix.
The most striking change would be a high-end MacBook with a touchscreen OLED panel. Reports cited by 9to5Mac say Apple is working on that machine. It may keep the MacBook Pro name. It may also arrive under a new label, such as MacBook Ultra.
Leaks point to OLED in place of today’s mini-LED screens. OLED can deliver higher contrast and deeper blacks. HDR performance can also improve in some scenes. Apple has never shipped a Mac with a touchscreen. This model could be the first. A trackpad or mouse would still remain. Rumours also describe a thinner body and a stronger hinge for a steadier display.
A new Apple TV 4K is also in the rumour mill. It may use an A19 or A19 Pro chip. AI-powered Siri features are expected as well. The current Apple TV 4K started at $129 worldwide. The price later rose to $199.
The third product is a smart display often called HomePad. It would combine a speaker with a screen. A new operating system is possible. Reported features include Siri, widgets, a camera, and Apple apps such as Notes, Music, Calendar, and Photos.
None of these devices is official yet. The reports only sketch Apple’s next wave after the latest iPhones. Launch timing and final names can still change.
