Nvidia Unveils RTX Spark Superchip at Computex 2026
Nvidia has launched RTX Spark at Computex 2026. The company calls it a powerful “superchip” designed for thin and light laptops.
This new platform brings workstation-grade AI performance to portable devices. It enables users to run large language models locally and delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI computing power.
Furthermore, analysts have shared early pricing estimates. Laptops with the RTX Spark N1 chip may start at around $1,799. Meanwhile, models with the more advanced N1x variant could begin at $2,899.
Moreover, these prices position RTX Spark laptops against premium creator notebooks, high-end workstations, and Apple’s MacBook Pro series. The estimates apply to base configurations with 16GB or 32GB RAM and 512GB or 1TB storage.
However, final prices will vary based on the brand, display quality, and extra features. Several manufacturers have already introduced RTX Spark-powered laptops at the show.
Additionally, Microsoft unveiled the Surface Laptop Ultra with a 15-inch mini-LED touchscreen and up to 128GB of unified memory. Asus expanded its lineup with the ProArt P16 and ProArt P14 models.
Besides this, Dell introduced the XPS 16 Creator Edition featuring a tandem OLED display. HP launched the OmniBook X 14 and OmniBook Ultra 16, claiming one of the thinnest designs. MSI presented the Prestige N16 Flip AI+, while Lenovo offered the Yoga Pro 9n.
Nvidia built RTX Spark with a Blackwell RTX GPU that includes 6,144 CUDA cores and fifth-generation Tensor cores. It also features up to a 20-core Nvidia Grace CPU.
In addition, the platform supports many local AI tasks. Users can run personal AI agents, generative AI applications, AI-powered productivity tools, and RTX-accelerated games without losing portability.
This launch highlights Nvidia’s focus on bringing strong AI capabilities to everyday laptops. The RTX Spark aims to deliver powerful performance while maintaining a slim and lightweight design.
