Vivo X500 Series Rumors Surface Just After X300 Launch
Vivo recently introduced the Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE in India. However, rumors about the next flagship lineup have already started. The company is expected to skip the X400 series and launch the new phones as the Vivo X500 series instead.
Three Models Expected
Sources report that the Vivo X500 series includes at least three models: Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro, and Vivo X500e. Entries for these phones appeared in the IMEI database, which suggests active development. Vivo appears to have avoided the X400 name due to tetraphobia, a common superstition in some Asian markets.
Expected Specifications
The standard Vivo X500 is likely to feature a compact 6.37-inch display. In contrast, the Vivo X500 Pro may come with a larger 6.83-inch screen. Both models are expected to include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for fast and secure authentication.
Moreover, the phones will run on MediaTek’s powerful Dimensity 9600 series chipset. They are also rumored to pack large 7,000mAh batteries with support for 100W fast charging.
Additional Features from Leaks
Recent leaks point to smooth 144Hz refresh rate displays across the lineup. The camera setup looks impressive too. Reports suggest a 50-megapixel primary sensor with advanced LOFIC technology. Additionally, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera may arrive for superior zoom performance.
The Vivo X500e will be a new addition to the series. Vivo did not release an “e” variant with the X300 lineup.
Launch Timeline
Vivo may also introduce a Vivo X500 Pro Max variant alongside the standard and Pro models. The new series is expected to bring meaningful upgrades over the current X300 and X300 Pro models.
These early leaks indicate that Vivo is working quickly on its next flagship phones. Fans can expect stronger performance, better cameras, and larger batteries in the upcoming X500 series. More official details should emerge in the coming months.
