Honor X80i: Features, Specs, and Availability

Honor is developing the X80i smartphone, featuring a 6.6-inch OLED display and strong battery.

Honor has a new smartphone in the works. The company is developing the Honor X80i as the next model in its popular X series.

The phone recently appeared on China’s TENAA certification database. This listing confirms its model number as LNA-AN00. It also reveals several key details about the device.

The Honor X80i features a 6.6-inch OLED display. The screen offers a sharp resolution of 1,200 x 2,600 pixels. Moreover, it includes an octa-core processor that clocks up to 2.6GHz.

Buyers can choose from multiple configurations. The phone supports 6GB, 8GB, 12GB, or even 16GB of RAM. Storage options go up to 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, or a massive 1TB.

For photography, the device packs a dual rear camera setup. The main sensor delivers 50 megapixels. Additionally, it offers an 8-megapixel front camera for clear selfies and video calls.

Battery life stands out as a major highlight. The Honor X80i comes with a large 6,800mAh battery. Experts expect Honor to market it as around 7,000mAh. This upgrade improves on the previous model’s capacity.

The phone also adds useful features. It includes an in-display fingerprint sensor. Other sensors cover gravity, proximity, and ambient light. Furthermore, it may support face recognition and even an IR blaster.

The design feels slim and light. Measurements stand at 157.43 × 75.35 × 7.34mm. The weight is just 185 grams.

Honor has not yet confirmed the Honor X80i officially. However, the TENAA appearance suggests a launch could happen soon. The device will likely succeed the Honor X70i. That model launched last year with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, a 108-megapixel camera, and a 6,000mAh battery.

Overall, the Honor X80i promises better battery endurance and more storage choices. Fans eagerly await official details from Honor. The phone could arrive in the coming months.
