Xiaomi 17 Ultra Global Variant Leaks Ahead of Launch
Xiaomi gears up for the global debut of its flagship Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The phone already launched in China last December. Now, leaks reveal details about the international version, including India.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) shared a fresh image on X. It shows the front of the global variant. The display looks flat. It features thin bezels. A hole-punch cutout houses the selfie camera. Overall, the design matches the Chinese model exactly.
The leak displays model number 2512BPNDAG. The device runs Android 16. It packs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This version offers 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Xiaomi launched the Chinese Xiaomi 17 Ultra with strong specs. It includes a 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display. Leica optics power the cameras. A massive 6,800mAh battery supports fast charging.
However, the global model faces changes. Rumors point to a smaller 6,000mAh battery. This downgrade helps with regulations or design. Still, it retains the triple rear setup. The main sensor hits 50 megapixels. An ultrawide lens matches at 50 megapixels. A 200-megapixel periscope telephoto stands out. The front camera delivers 50 megapixels.
Pricing looks premium. The 16GB + 512GB variant may cost EUR 1,499. That converts to roughly Rs. 1,60,100 in India. Global markets could see the phone later this month. Some leaks suggest a launch before MWC 2026. India might follow in early March.
Xiaomi keeps the Leica partnership strong. It promises top-tier photography. The phone also supports 90W wired charging. Wireless charging hits 50W.
Fans await official confirmation. Leaks build excitement. However, battery differences spark debate. The global version trades capacity for other perks.
