Telecom Giants Jio and Airtel Offer Relief to Flood-Hit Customers
Reliance Jio and Airtel have announced special relief measures for users in Jammu & Kashmir. The relief measures also cover Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. These regions were affected by floods and heavy rains.
Jio’s Relief Measures
- Validity Extensions: Jio is automatically extending the validity of expiring prepaid plans by three days. This is applicable for both Jio Prepaid Mobile and JioHome subscribers.
- Free Data and Calls: Mobile network subscribers will receive unlimited voice calls. They will also get 2GB of high-speed data per day at no extra cost.
- Additional Benefits: JioHome users will enjoy an additional three days of benefits from their most recent plan.
- Bill Payment Extensions: Postpaid Mobile and JioHome customers will get a three-day extension on bill payments.
Airtel’s Relief Measures
- Validity Extensions: Prepaid users will automatically receive a three-day extension, along with unlimited calls and 1GB of daily data.
- Bill Payment Grace Period: Postpaid and broadband subscribers will get a three-day grace period on bill payments. This is to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.
