Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Expected to Get Pricier: Here’s the Estimated Cost

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold book-style foldables are about to get pricier with its next update. Apart from its processor, very little has changed with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold models over the past three years.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 was launched last year. It still has the same camera hardware as the Galaxy Z Fold 4, which was launched in 2022. Latest leaks and rumors indicate an altered camera layout for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. The design overall is said to be slimmer.

According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be priced between Rs. 1,75,000 and Rs. 1,79,000 in India. This is a noticeable price bump compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which was launched at Rs. 1,64,999 for the base 12GB + 256GB variant.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 recently received a price cut and currently retails at Rs. 1,49,999 in India. The top-end 12GB + 1TB model of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 retails at Rs. 2,00,999.

The Vivo X Fold 5 is launching on July 14. It is expected to be a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 in India. The price is set at Rs. 1,49,999 for the 16GB + 512GB option.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to have design changes, measuring 3.9mm when unfolded and 8.9mm when folded. It will likely have a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8-inch main display. The phone is expected to be available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.
