Mivi AI Buds Launched in India: Features, Price, and Availability

Mivi AI Buds, the company’s latest truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, were launched in India on Friday. The earphones feature a voice-based artificial intelligence (AI) system that users can talk to hands-free.

Key Features

The Mivi AI Buds come equipped with a context-aware assistant with memory function. They also have a 13mm driver. Additionally, there is a quad microphone setup. They offer up to 40 hours of total playtime with the case and feature active noise cancellation. The earphones have a 3D soundstage, support for spatial audio, Bluetooth 5.4, and LDAC codec support.

Design and Specifications

The earphones have an unibody metallic body with an hourglass-inspired stem design and a glossy finish. They weigh 52g (inclusive of the case) and feature IPX4 rating for water ingress. The earbuds also support dual connectivity and a gaming mode.

Mivi AI Assistant

The Mivi AI assistant can be directly accessed from the earbuds when connected to the Mivi AI companion app. The voice-based AI system can function without a screen. Users can choose a text-based modality via the app. The assistant can be activated with the wake phrase “Hi Mivi.” Mivi AI comes with five pre-loaded avatars: Chef, Guru, Interviewer, News Reporter, and Wellness Coach.

Price and Availability

The Mivi AI Buds are priced at Rs. 6,999, according to a press release. However, they are currently listed on the official Mivi India website at Rs. 5,999. The earphones are available in Black, Bronze, Champagne, and Silver color options. They can be purchased on Flipkart and the Mivi India website.
