Nothing Phone 3 Launching Globally on July 1 with New Glyph Matrix Interface
The Nothing Phone 3 will be unveiled globally on July 1, alongside the Nothing Headphone 1. The new handset will feature a Glyph Matrix interface, replacing the Glyph Interface from previous models. According to Adam Bates, Head of Design at Nothing, the Glyph Matrix offers greater programmability. It supports pixel-level animations and symbolic visuals. It also includes reactive lighting.
The Glyph Matrix is a compact cluster of micro-LEDs located at the top right corner of the back panel. It allows for personalized lighting effects for different apps and notifications. The new design has also freed up internal space, enabling improved hardware layouts.
