Apple Posts Record Revenue in India in Q4 2026

Apple reported its fourth-quarter 2026 financial results on Monday. The figures cover the July-to-September period. Following the release, the company held an earnings call for investors and journalists. Executives shared further details during the discussion.

Apple recorded its best-ever quarter in India by revenue. The company achieved this growth despite supply chain disruptions and the ongoing RAM crisis, known as RAMageddon. The crisis forced Apple to raise prices across several device categories. Nevertheless, revenue from Mac and iPhone sales increased in both developed and emerging markets, including India.

During the call, Chief Executive Officer John Ternus said Apple posted an “all-time record” high revenue in India for the quarter ended September. The company also reported strong results in other emerging economies and developed markets. iPhone sales revenue rose 17 percent to $57.6 billion, even amid supply and foreign-exchange challenges.

Ternus noted double-digit revenue growth in the United States and Greater China. He attributed the strong performance to upgraders worldwide, including those in the US, mainland China, and India. Demand from customers moving to newer iPhone models also contributed. The most recent launches included the iPhone 18 Pro series on September 9 and the iPhone Duo.

Mac sales provided another boost. Apple generated $10.8 billion in Mac revenue, a 24 percent increase year-on-year. Ternus said strong demand for the MacBook Neo, Apple’s most affordable laptop, and the MacBook Pro drove the growth.

The company recorded double-digit growth in both developed and emerging markets. Ternus highlighted all-time record revenue in India and Southeast Asia. He also pointed to the recent launch of Apple Pay in India in partnership with Axis Bank. The service is now available in more than 90 countries and regions.

Overall, Apple’s Q4 results show continued strength in key product categories and expanding markets. India stood out as a major highlight in the company’s latest quarter.
