Phantom Blade Zero is receiving a dedicated State of Play showcase next week. The upcoming Wuxia action game comes from Chinese developer S-Game. The presentation will air on August 17 and offer a deeper look at the game’s combat and systems.
S-Game plans to share nearly 20 minutes of new gameplay during the show. The State of Play will stream on August 17 at 7pm PT / 10pm ET. In India, the broadcast begins on August 18 at 7:30am IST. Viewers can watch it on PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
The game is now available for pre-order on PC and PS5. Players can reserve it on the PlayStation Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. S-Game released a new extended trailer on Tuesday to mark the start of pre-orders.
The trailer also confirmed that Hong Kong actor and martial artist Donnie Yen has worked as a creative consultant since 2023. Yen contributed his expertise in martial arts and action filmmaking to the combat design. The studio says his involvement helps deliver an authentic Kung-fu experience.
The 11-minute pre-order trailer features fast-paced melee combat, elaborate action sequences, and a boss fight staged on a speeding wagon. These scenes highlight the game’s focus on fluid and intense action.
The upcoming State of Play deep dive will explore Phantom Blade Zero’s gameplay systems and dynamic combat. It will also introduce the dark Wuxia setting known as the Phantom World. In addition, the presentation will reveal new characters and explain the custom builds that players can create to match their preferred style.
Phantom Blade Zero launches on PC and PS5 on October 29, 2026. The Standard edition is priced at Rs 4,299. The Digital Deluxe edition costs Rs 5,199. Players who pre-order the game will receive the Treasure Basin accessory and the Legacy outfit early. Both items can also be unlocked later through normal in-game progression.
